When Jesus sent the letter to the Laodicean church, He said they make Him nauseous... no wonder: it was all about THEM! Laodicea means the will and the rule of the people! Its sad to see so many Christians proclaiming things that just boils over with SELF. Jesus came to save us from ourselves; now we can live for Him! God WILL take care of you, so you dont have to worry about YOU. (Yes, you have to exercise good stewardship, but then God is still the focus.) We are to live for GOD; that means expand HIS Kingdom, not ours. The reason for that is that in HIM we have the REAL LIFE... lets proclaim THAT in this world. God WANTS us to be in places where there is darkness - to bring His LIGHT. He wants us to be among people who are negative, bad, hurting etc; how else will they get delivered? Arise! Church... Shine !!! Your light HAS come, His Name is JESUS! Darkness WILL cover the earth, but we will show the LIGHT of God... and when we do, they will come running to God - to get the REAL THING!
