When Kim & I picked Joyia Burgess up from work yesterday she told us that Wayne State Police was searching for a Law student that never reported to class or picked up her children. I said a emotional prayer for her last nite and this morning for her. And today, Joyia posted this: Tiane Brown, a promising Wayne State Law student reported missing yesterday, was found today in a vacant lot on the eastern edge of Detroit near the abandoned Packard plant. Two suspects have been taken into custody. Prayers and thoughts to her parents, three children and the rest of her family. This one is gettin to me, dont know why. Maybe it just was too close to home; or maybe that it coulda been any one of us. Ladies, young & old we have got to do a better job protecting ourselves when alone. Or, be more cautious of the company we keep. It is too late for Tiane, but i will continue to pray for peace for her family.
