When Kind Of Heart That Breaks came out in the states, I did a 120 city radio tour in about 3 months. One of the stops was Birmingham , Alabama. I was beat from doing 3 towns that day and very sick of singing Kind of Heart (which I had done like 20 times that week)..so I pulled out Bruce Springsteens My Hometown..good news was they loved it. Bad news was they loved it too much. They started playing it 3 times a day for 2 months (the live acoustic performance) instead of Kind Of Heart, costing me the market during the single...Nice town, I never got back there after that. So, in Birmingham, they totally dont know any of my songs, but there are a few thousand people who know me as a live radio Springsteen cover act...lol
