When Levi first came to Paws in the City, his poor heart was heavily infested with heartworms. He had to take medication for several weeks just to reduce the amount of microfilarae in his system before he could even begin his heartworm treatment. After his treatment, he had 6 long weeks of restricted activity, which is tough if youre a fun-loving dog like Levi. During his time with PITC, Levi briefly stayed with loving foster Mom, Cecelia. However, he soon moved on to the foster Mom who would become his forever Mom, Brooke. Levi still goes by Levi, he was a foster failure, but I call him Mr. Levi Strauss. He is loved by myself and his furbrother, Axl Rose. Levi is the best thing that has ever happened to Axl and me. Hes so sweet and such a lover! He loves to be outside with his momma and brother on the nice sunny days, and he is the best dog I could have ever wished for. Levi loves to swim in the lake and paddle board with myself and his brother, and going to the groomers every 2 weeks is one of his favorite things to do; he loves to get his hair done! Thank you so much for the greatest blessing in the world. Levi is my sun on a cloudy day, and my greeter every day I come home! Brooke Happy Tails, Sweet Levi.
