When MTV was cool, a nine-year-old blonde-haired boy sat in the TV room on a Saturday night. He had his cassette recorder by the TV speaker, with a 120-minute cassette (that he bought from Radio Shack) loaded and ready. The Saturday Night Concert came on, and he hit Record. Needless to say, he had a good time...one that would be relived many times before he, his older brother and his brothers friend saw Judas Priest at the Baltimore Civic Center on their Defenders Of The Faith tour. For those that havent heard the story before...a short take: Dad took us...Jack Russell taught me a new four-letter word...Keith and Will head-banged and air-guitared...someone lit a plastic glass on fire the next section over...Dad slipped on beer and sprang his ankle, yet he got me a T-shirt...wore it to Bear Creek the next day...:-) The concert was released on DVD in their box set, so I guessed I could get rid of that cassette, as fragile as it was.
