When Mary Helen was eight, she told her Daddy and me that she had decided she would be baptized on her tenth birthday. She had already looked ahead on the calendar to see that September 15, 1999 would fall on a Wednesday. On her tenth birthday, Mark was blessed with the opportunity of baptizing Mary Helen. Twenty-five years ago today, God blessed us with Mary Helens physical birth. Fifteen years ago today, Mary Helen experienced her spiritual birth. September 15th holds very precious memories! Because of Jesus sacrifice for each of us, we can rejoice in our hope. Philippians 1:3 - I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.
