When Men of God are more popular than God! Definitely I will invite the unrelenting ire and wrath from most of you friends with scriptures touch not mine anointed being used as a shield against fair criticism of what I perceive and verily believe to be wrong. BOWING DOWN : A few Bible readers here will understand that under NO circumstances should a Christian bow to anyone but God. Nomatter how gifted the man is, it is only at the name of Jesus Christ that we should bow. I have noticed that when a man is alleged to have been given a gift by God, his followers bow before him, thats very unscriptural. You will remember, friends, that when John saw an Angel coming with Revelation, he wanted to respect him, to bow. The angel expressly forbade him to do so saying that he was just a servant. What more a sinful man who has simply found grace in the sight of the Lord? SPIRITUAL FATHER, PAPA, POPE You will recall that in Mathew 23:9 were admonished NOT to call anyone Father upon the earth (obviously in religion as the bible recognises biological fathers in Heb 12:9 for example) for one is your father, God. The bible in Mathew quoted above simply says for ye are all brethren, brothers and sisters, period. That means I can simply address TD Jakes, Emmanuel Makandiwa, Uebert Angel, Chris Oyakilome, TB Joshua and many others as my brothers without deitification of the mortal men. I have deliberately included POPE above as I understand the English translation of the word is papa, father, which is similar to spiritual father in my understanding. I know of people who are more popular than Jesus Christ today. Mammon, Money and the Spirit of Balaam : You will remember Balaam the Prophet, gifted of God, drawn in the lust of money. Money destroys. Today, the gospel is 90 per cent about money. We associate earthy prosperity with heavenly blessing. Let me tell you friends, rarely is wealth and materials a sign of blessing, its usually contrary. Remember Lazarus and the rich man. Of a truth I tell you that had the rich man lived in our day, he would be a bishop! Imagine the disaster. If you have, praise God. If you dont have, praise God. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Tim 6 vs 3_7. Dressing. Dressing. Dressing. I wont say much. Most of my sisters here will kill me. I know they know the truth, although they shun it. Praise and Worship : Look at ZCC for example, they have songs glorifying Nehemiah, Reuben and Samuel Mutendi and you wonder whether its a church or a cult. They are not the only ones. Pentecostals, they just edit worldly music and make it Gospel.
