When Miranda was in concert the other night she saw 7 year old Brooke in a pink cowgirl hat and a surgical mask. Brooke has been battling cancer for over 3 years & had the opportunity to go to her very first concert Saturday. Brookes mom posted this on her blog: I got to hold my little girl for a couple of hours on my hip so that she could see the stage and get the chance to not only attend a Miranda Lambert concert but be on the front rail in a not too crowded area and have a dream come true at her first concert ever. When Miranda came by and kneeled to hold Brookes hand while singing to her and then didnt let go... and didnt let go... and didnt let go, my arms trembled holding Brooke as I looked into Miranda Lamberts eyes, thanked her and cried with her. The only expression on Brookes face was pure joy. It was actually so overly emotional for Miranda after holding Brookes hand that she stopped singing entirely for the remainder of the song and held her mic to the crowd to sing for her as she stepped away from Brooke continually wiping tears from her face.
