When Nic decided he no longer liked his job in Idaho and started looking for a new job and found Wolf Creek, I was sad, mad and devastated about having to move to Kansas. I even threatened not to follow! I had cool friends and a job I loved in Idaho. And of course my mountains. Kansas gets such a bad rap ( ok yes, the majority of our politicians are tea party wackados, but were working on that) Its so beautiful here. Im grateful that the Flint Hills ( as seen in many of these pics) is literally in my back yard. A jeep ride and nearly fifty miles on my bike in the past couple of days through these hills has done more for my mental state of mind than anything else I could think of. Im glad Im here :)
