When Peter Ducker procastinated a customer as a king, little did - TopicsExpress

When Peter Ducker procastinated a customer as a king, little did he know that an employee could also be looked upon as a queen. Most greedy and selfish management scholars failed to recognise the "bread winner of the family" and as a matter of fact relied heavily on customer satisfaction, an injection of blood into the organization. The idea of such managers goes far beyond the classical school of thought, who definitely think that employee dislike work, are lazy and thus the only way to motivate staff work is via the paycheck. It is not all about the paycheck folks. If we must do the game amicably, then respect must be reciprocal. The Hawthorne experiment proved this contrary as employees prefer to work in harmony, unity and respect. As a human resource personnel, it is usually difficult to identify the type of staff you are dealing with during the recruitment/selection process, training and development and continuous professional development. You cannot disrespect employees at the job and expect them to put in maximum efforts at the job. Respect is mutual, respect is a give and take process and it is only by recognising the importance of employees and co-workers and giving them the respect they desire, then can we continue to add value to the organization. I do agree that a typical businessman look forward to earning revenue from customers to achieve profit maximisation, but yet we forget to acknowledge that with disgruntle employees at the job, production will definitely be at standstill and customers will have nothing to fill their stormch with, but rather eat their finger nails. Here is the problem: we always belief that we can definitely fire one staff and re-hire another. I say no, because it is a big mistake as Magha Son can never be Peterson. Those same employees we fire some how know your business secrets and can definitely set up their own businesses to compete and fight back. There are three vital ingredients I will like to add to your soup: - You onle realize the importance of what you have unill you loose it. - "Be nice to those you meet on your way up the ladder, because you might meet them on your way down" Lucky Dube. May his soul continue to rest in peace. -If a company treats employees with respect, those employees usually will respect the company as well. Management must definitely recognise the importance of a solid team in an organization in other to boost profit. Thank you. I am not a critics, I simple identify scenerios that are not healthy for the environment and analyse. I am not scared of any human but God.
