When Sachin Tendulkar took the Bat in 1989 for International Cricket, at the same time I was enlisted in Defense Force and handed over with Rifle. I served in the Force with watching Sachin Tendulkar from the very beginning of his entry and admire his behavior in personal life. While talking about each events of life I always used the commonly used words in cricket, like batting for any work done in service, runs for out put, etc. Lived alongwith Sachins success stories and tried to apply his undermentioned good qualities into my personal life and succeeded :- 1) Keep cool at difficult juncture and wait for good times 2) Respect to elder people, dont be get proud at any point of time, 3) hard work/dedication at works 4) Dont comment more like Ramdev............... 5) Dont think what people says about me and concentrate only on work. 6) Instead prove the qualities by doing hard work and not by talking about things what people says.............. All these successes stories of this great man admired in my personal life and lived a successful life to some extent despite of hazards of duties in the defense Forces. ......But 25 years have since to be completed, and after Sachins retirement, I dont know how the rest of service will complete. Instead thinking for Voluntary Retirement....... ........ Thank you Sachin being with us for last 25 years, good luck for your rest of life and god bless you and your family........ From Raghunath N.
