When The Mind Trample On Its Slave If the mind, that rules the - TopicsExpress

When The Mind Trample On Its Slave If the mind, that rules the body, ever so far forgets itself as to trample on its slave, the slave is never generous enough to forgive the injury, but will rise and smite the oppressor. I can only agree with the American writer and professor Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, having said that, I will however kick in a note, perhaps even use a stronger word. It is true, when we disregard the signals and messages from our body, because we have been taught to use our brains and minds over, what we already knew as children, then the body has two options; wither out and die or rise and smite the oppressor in its struggle make us listen and cooperate with it to stay strong and healthy. Luckily for us, the body always try out the rise and if we choose to wise up and take it seriously it will forgive and even teach us the lessons we have forgotten. BUT if we chose to go on and keep suppressing or just ignore its signals, we will suffer, suffer from obesity, diseases which might turn into chronic diseases or mental instability. Which course the human body chooses all depends on our paradigms, eating, exercise habits and environment. I would take it one step further and say that our eating and excise habits are affected by our paradigms as well, so that it all goes together. Often changing one of our habits is all it takes to eliminate the injury we have inflicted upon ourselves by our strong willed brain and mind in our ignorance. If you look at Bob Proctor’s stick person, which is a very simplified illustration on the flow of our system, you get and idea of how we”work.” I am sure you have heard it over and over that our thoughts create our emotions, which again leads to our habits and actions. A lot of people know this and try to apply it ad often have to give up on it or even say that it does not work. I am the first one to admit, that I have been there. I tried and tried but nothing happened. I was sure that something was utterly wrong with me… Admitted it was at the beginning before i started studying this closer, but as I learned the tools and APPLIED them – it worked like magic and magic it is. Sometimes it just takes a little hep and some practice, other times we need a little loving kick to get going. When you have learned the tools and how to listen to yourself and forget some of the less beneficial paradigms imposed on us during our upbringing it becomes easier and easier to eliminate the garbage and change our situation. It does take a little will power and the willingness to change and improvement, you can not hire someone to do your “push ups” for you, it is something you have to do. I my own case i both took an education or two to learn more about it and I hired coaches to help me get there. It is still a journey of learning and often I think of it as an adventure. One thing is certain, there is so much to this, that I never get tired of learning new ways to clear, reprogram my computer and grow. And as Joe Vitale says, I always have a mentor or coach in my life, who can help me on my journey of life, help me get clear when i am stuck. And instead of spending my time on medication and doctors appointments, i spend a few minutes every day using some of these amazing tools that helps peel of my own lays of my onion. When i get stuck I ask my mentor to help me – and yes I DO use doctors when relevant, doctors are great at their jobs, I just do not need them for maintenance purposes. It is a choice and how wonderful it is, that we have choices and tools and not least that the slave actually forgives its oppressor. When we allow it the space and honor it deserves, it turns into a great friend and guide. And it is free of charge, a build in guidance system. The dis-eases and problems we encounter are merely warning signs -learn to read them! hellemikkelsen/when-the-mind-trample-on-its-slave/
