When You Say,It is Time to Pull Together and Call Down the Power of Justice and Save Our People! and someone says,* We will Never come together! Overstand this. They are Marking Themselves for You - as an Impediment to Human Struggle and/or an Outright Coward. We have to set Winning Standards. Cowardice is not Acceptable before the Divine. We must be Brave like in one of the stories of Orisha Shango when he took human form. He visited a village where there was great Sorrow among the People. The Ekun had killed yet another victim. The mourning hurt Him to His Heart. He promised the People that He, Sàngó would Kill it. They offered Him whatever He needed, seeing that He was Unarmed.He seized a large Pestle that was in a nearby Mortar and announced that This would be all He Needed. Only when He was deep in the Darkness of the Forest, did He remember that He did Not Know anything about this Killer,Ekun. He heard a deep roar and was unnerved. The second roar sent Him up a tree! He was looking down, trying to see this approaching creature when the third roar caused Him to lose hold of His makeshift weapon. It fell,clattering thru the branches as it fell. He waited to hear the next roar and none came. After a long time, He gained the Courage to climb down, believing this Ekun to have gone about its way. What He discovered was that His Mortar had struck this Creature squarely on the Head when it fell and killed It. He took its skin back to the Villagers and told them,I am not worthy of Your Praise. and truthfully recounted the story, expecting their disapproval. INSTEAD, they draped the skin of this animal we call Leopard -about His Shoulders and made Him their King. He was stunned. They said You were Brave Enough to Fight for Us, even though You did not know the Enemy you faced. It was the Hand of the Creator that Guided Your Simple Weapon to Its Mark, but there first needed to be a Heart That was Brave Enough to be an Agent of Divine Will on this Plane. In this one Act, Our Problem was Solved and We were given the Identity of Our New King. None shall Serve Us Better than YOU, KING SHANGO! So, He stayed, Ruled, and had many Adventures -but thats anOther Story! What We Learn from this One is that if We are Selfless in Our Courage, the Hand of the Creator will Assist Us, even when We may even fully comprehend the Identity and Powers of Our Enemies. We must first be Brave, so that We can Become Channels for the Divine Will to Manifest on This Earth. The Time for Courage is NOW! The Village faces yet another Death-Dealing Threat that has already taken many Lives. KABIYESI! OBA KOSO! ALL HAIL THE KING! Our GOOD KING IS NOT DEAD!!!!
