When a nomad dies, be it a Mongol, Kazakh, Kyrgyz or Turkman: his body is left to be eaten by wolves. It is their version of a Sky Burial, as wolves are mystical creatures whose soul belongs to the sky and will occasionally fly to return the pieces of the dead back to the sky.
