When a client calls us to take on a case, we always have a duty of care to be upfront and honest. There can be numerous factors to consider and times when we steer a client away from proceeding if we believe they are wasting their time and money. This could be for a number of reasons based on the details and information given to us. We recently had a caller who abused us and told us they would go elswhere before hanging up. To the caller we say this; We were simply being upfront and honest trying to prevent you from wasting a great deal of your time and money. (We will refrain on commenting further).
