When a nation is dependant on world support of its banking system, currency, and its debt, it is imperative to maintain a good public image so as to attract greater investment, banking, trade, use of currency, and continued financial support. When arrogance of empire sets in, so as to think exceptionalism, public image no longer matters. Perpetual war, killer drones, economic sanctions, financial warfare, regime change, aggressive belligerence against other nations, all of these actions are driving the world away from the United States. Its creating international alliances, and counter economics, which slowly eat away at the foundation of the global empire until one day it is standing alone with no support, no friends, in a world redesigned without it.
