When a police officer(s) kills a civilian, in profile cases it - TopicsExpress

When a police officer(s) kills a civilian, in profile cases it always follow up by protests and marches; and you cannot predict what a civilian will do. However, the police are a trained paramilitary force made up of rank and file officers and non-uniform personnel. The commissioner is the, Top cop, selected by the mayor who has full control of the New York Police Department (NYPD). Haven said that, no police officer can tell the mayor where and where not, he can go. Police Officer Pat Lynch, is the polices union president, not the mayors schudule person. When he said the mayor will not be welcome at police funerals he made that call and here We are heading to two officers funerals (who had nothing to do with the marches going on across the country) only that they were working as, Policeman. To be pointing fingers and putting the death of these officers on anyone is wrong and unprofessional. On any job, you may not always agree with what the boss say or do and you will never speak out or plan to disrespect the boss. Like it or not, the mayor is the boss of the NYPD and when they turned their backs on him, being a paramilitary organization, this was a grave disrespect, which falls in line with the charge; Unbecoming an officer. No union president would lead his members down a path, which can be seen as a disrespect to the Office of the mayor and the mayor himself.
