When a ship is abt to wreck d captain controls it. Education in d country is long been negleted. No uni in here, is rated among d 1000 best versities in d world. Unlike other African nations, as in, Egypt, Ghana, S/Africa etc. Wht a shame? Let d president put to rest d lingering ASUU epidamic, witout compromise. The F G should put in place modalities that only educators will prevail on issues of education, but nt evry Tom, Dick nd Harry. Like before as things got worse over d yrs. Other professions are being respected, as in: Medicine, Engeerine, law profession etc. However education is being handed over to anybdy to man its affairs. While engineers are not efficient enough. Our industries are moribund today, for lack of managerian capabilities in our engineers which are so respected. They only work as artisans under foreign expatraits. General hospitals are facing d same decay. Management is a problem. Education sector must be revamped nd be respected as a profession, where only eductors wll be recruited to work in d sector as professionals.
