When any incident happens against Girls, forget politicians, even so called educated people at parks , social meets start pointing fingers at ladies dress without any shame that themselves they are wearing half knickers, sleeveless T- shirt, even at old age at park. Except temples, the percentage of ladies/girls at any place outside of home is lesser compared to men be it entertainment places, social meet or political institutions. RIght from child, while mother takes same pain to grow baby in her womb, a child after birth is more often, subjected to different set of rules by families, society, educational institutions. The dress code is essential for women only..men can do anything with impunity. Even girls themselves accept defeatism and dont compete with their brothers in learning martial arts, self defense during childhood as if this is domain of men. But why? Is it not parental duty to rectify? Should we not start from family and make our girls strong enough to take care of themselves ? Why always and always blame police and Government, certainly they have duty of law and order but most of mental torture is suffered not by admin but by the victim. Doesnt parenting need reorientation?
