When asked what do I remember about 9-11. I was at work in NJ when the 1st plane hit, and a bunch of us went into the conference room to watch the story unfold. I remember one of the VPs in our office point out that his brother was on that fire truck (the first on the scene), I remember us watching the 2nd plane hit, and I remember as we watched the tower come down, that VP stating my brother is gone and watching him shed a tear and hugged me. I remember going home and getting the phone call that our neighbor perished as he was fixing a computer system that day in one of the towers. His message on his familys machine will always stay with me. He called his family to say he loved them and knew he wouldnt be seeing them for a long time. I also remember picking up my twin boys from day care and holding them super tight that night, and thanking god for not letting me take that job offer at the twin towers. That day changed so many lives. Hugs to all the survivors and those left to remember that day forever!
