When believers are confronted with the fact that Gods commandments - TopicsExpress

When believers are confronted with the fact that Gods commandments have not been done away with (read Revelation 14:12 and 22:14); that the Sabbath of God and the Feasts of the Lord are forever and seen in the New Millennium, they experience Cognitive Dissonance. What is Cognitive Dissonance? Sometimes people hold to a core belief or teaching that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief or teaching, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. Because it is so important to protect that belief or teaching, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesnt fit in with the core belief or teaching. This seems to be the case when you confront the doctrines and traditions of men. So the question is, are you going to keep ignoring God and His word, or humble and submit to Him?
