When certain things happen in your life, you may not, at that time, understand why. This morning in our Sunday School lesson, our teacher brought out that God will give you many chances to make things right with Him and as you lay dying He will sometimes give you that one last chance. I had surgery about a year and a half ago for a gangrenous gallbladder and as I was in recovery talking to the anesthesiologist I found myself gasping for breath. I heard the dr. say, Shes stopped breathing. The next thing I remember was waking up in my room. What God revealed to me this morning is that I could just have easily woken up and found myself in Hell. I didnt have a chance, as I was taking what could have been my last breath, to ask God to forgive me. So yes, God will give you chance after chance but death can come in a blink of an eye. Dont live your life thinking that you can do anything you want to and then youll be able to seek God as youre dying. You may not get that chance. I couldnt figure out at that time why I was given a another chance at living but today I realized that its for a time such as this. Dont wait til its too late for you to make that choice.
