When company is coming, and will see my place for the first time I clean, straighten, and then step back into the doorway and look. I look at it with the eyes of someone seeing the room for the first time and I say, ahhh what a lovely room, Im a lucky Gal. Similiarly a friend met my husband for the first time. In fifteen years Ive seen him a few times you know? So many times that I dont properly LOOK at him. So I stepped back, into the doorway yesterday and saw him as my friend might. Saw him with new eyes and thought, hmmm those jeans look pretty darn good, those arms...what a handsome guy, Im a lucky Gal!!!
