When compassion, compromise and love are viewed as weakness, society can only be dysfunctional and immoral. When these qualities are revered we will be on our way to an evolved and enlightened society. Even so called spiritual teachings hold the ugly metaphors of war. When a belief system holds the metaphors of military symbols, leave it behind and search for a more enlightened model. Perhaps one day we will have to explain what the meaning of war was in civilizations of the past. While some think this is impossible, I think it can come about when the mindsets are transformed, evolved and move toward enlightenment. Some may say Im a dreamer, but Im not the only one.......John Lennon. It may be the lone survivors of total destruction that will be the enlightened ones.
