When did it become normal to advertise colleges on tv? Does anyone else see this as a money scam??? Its a scam targeting the smart people that dont think for them self. Weve had it pounded into our heads that if we are smart then we will go to college. It makes sense because the jobs and pay are better. By all means, college is not the only way to become successful. On the other hand it is guaranteed to set you back in debt for decades to come. If you know it is right for you, and clearly your only path to living a happy life, go for it. The rest of you need to wise up. Do the math. Millions of college students forking out nearly 30k or more in 4-6 years. Are they wiping their asses with money we clearly cant spare?
