When does ones life go from hectic to insane - mine did today!!!! For the past month my Mom has been in and out of the hospital - first HVS with a bleeding ulcer - home for a few days back to the E.D. then home then back to the E.D.and transferred to HVB (Beaver) with an extremely large blood clot and now to Villa St. Joseph for rehab. Between going to Beaver every day and work I had a party for 150 people for Robbys Scholarship thanking all that have been sponsors and donors and given us so much love and support. Then to deal with the 5 year anniversary of the death of Robby on July 24th. Then Clifford ended up in the E.D. with his back in pain. Throw in a breast cancer scare for me - I just hate waiting 2 weeks after the first mammo to have the 2nd - everything goes through your mind but all was clear. On top of everything, you have to clean, do laundry, grocery shop, cook, clean (that cycle doesnt stop) then there are Brians hockey games, going 50 miles each way to pick up Annies puppy while Annie works - only event I missed was Andreas mini-triathlon (and I feel horrible missing it but Cliff was on pain meds for his back and I wasnt sure where the event was taking place at 6:00 am last Sunday). I have a very big golf event coming up on Monday so Im working extra hours to keep things in order and after a very long week I came home to Clifford in agony with a toothache. Today I went to work only to get there and the parking lot had been tarred and I was unable to get into my office and then while driving home a plate under the engine in my car decided I didnt have enough to deal with - so it fell off and I dragged it all the way home!!! While it has been absolutely crazy, hectic and insane all gets put into perspective when I realize what my sister-in-law, Pam Thomas, is going through with her husbands terminal illness - my craziness is a walk in the park compared to what she and her husband are going through. Please keep them in your prayers xox
