When does the exploiting happening on reality TV stop? As each show goes further and further to top the controversial behaviors of the other is there a cap? Is there an end game? Will someone or some people have to die to regain public conscious? When I find really conscious people drawn in so tightly I get fearful because I see the hold it has on culture... Im reminded of the East coast West Coast rap artists which started off as witty rhymes aimed at dissing each other for ratings... But later growing into huge feuds and battles and disrespect... We ended up with the rap worlds biggest icons as well fans being killed by one another in allegiance to whatever artists or coast they represented... Record sales soared but at what cost? What messages are we perpetuating by promoting... Yes, its fun and games now... But tomorrow tell your sons and daughters not to fight in school or not to hit back at a disrespectful police officer... IJS... Its a little more dangerous.
