When going through difficult, even life threatening circumstances, our hope is not merely in this world or in the greatness of medicine. Our Father offers us much more than this fragile, limited, and broken world can ever give us. Paul said if our hope only is in this world, we are of all men most miserable. Our Father supplies the greatness of His Power AND the promise of eternal life. He has all the bases covered while man and medicine is so limited. We do not have limited hope and provision but rather His limitless fullness of power and His eternal promises. Our hope is extended beyond the temporal and the seen into the eternal and unseen. As this situation evolves, our confidence in our Father increases and grows, regardless of the circumstances or the outcome. How sad and hopeless life must ultimately be for those without this blessed and wonderful hope.
