When he suspended two caucus members and called for an independent - TopicsExpress

When he suspended two caucus members and called for an independent investigation, Justin Trudeau did not identify the complainants (nor even the specifics of the complaint). I have yet to see any news article which identifies the complainants or any details regarding their allegations. Given this, I am greatly puzzled by Thomas Mulcairs suggestion that his MPs privacy was breached. I am also puzzled by the comments from the usually reasonable and well-spoken NDP MP Megan Leslie, who complained that its not every workplace where you end up doing national media because you came forward to say I want a safe workplace. (Has this happened?) If, as is alleged, workplace harassment (or misconduct) took place (and continues to occur) on Parliament Hill, surely that should be the focus of attention and debate. If the NDP continue to focus on Justin Trudeaus response to the harassment complaints, they risk being perceived as more bent on scoring political points than on improving the workplace for all MPs and political staffers.
