When he turned 18 like all other of the Andrew’s kids he joined the Army and was sent to Afghanistan. His convoy hit a landmine and he was blown out of the vehicle. He lost both his legs and after 6 months of rehabilitation in a hospital he was sent home in a wheelchair. It was Thanksgiving 2013 and he sat at the table with all the family, 4 generations of Andrew’s family and they all prayed and thanked god for what they had and being able to live in America. Not one gripe or a bad word said about America. They loved their country. Then Joshua yells Grandpa you have company as a number of cars drive up the driveway. Nancy says what do they want here? Nobody knows. They all stop and a man wearing a black suit comes to the door and says he is from the government and is there to confiscate any guns and rifles that we have. Grand Ma Mary yells out “Say what? He says give me your guns now or we will come in and take them. Grandma says just try and Grandpa slams the door. After about 5 minutes a man on a bullhorn yells out “we have your house surrounded and you have 10 minutes to come out. The 4 generations of the Andrew’s family look at each other and one by one say ”not my guns” and Grandpa Fred the senior walked over to both safes and opened them up. Each Andrew’s took at least one gun even 10 year old Tiffany took her 22 rifle. They spread around the house watching the doors. One last call from outside “come on out”. When it came it came fast. First tear gas, rocket propelled grenades and then they broke down the doors. The men coming thru the doors were killed instantly, but not before little Tiffany was shot down her lifeless body still clinging to her 22 rifle. When the helicopter started firing on the house it was over quickly. The house exploded and the government agents watched as the home erupted in flames. The one agent that was at the front door looked at his partner and said” How’s the second amendment working for them now "and they both laughed.
