When i first started teaching the students of hospitality management class in the beginning of the school year, i show them a couple basics. The main thing to do is get an indication of your soil texture, which is what proportion of your soil is sand, silt and clay. Our most important job as an agriculture farmer or vegetable gardener whatever you want to call it, is to feed and sustain soil life, often called the soil food web, beginning with the microbes. If we understand this practices and do them, our plants will thrive, well grow nutritious, healthy food, and our soil conditions will get better each year. This is what is meant by the adage Feed the soil Not the plants. Heres pictures to show you what a difference makes if you understand what God creative 🌎 earth.
