When i was in college i worked in a chicken plant. One day after work i was driving home and a chicken escapee was running down the road beside my car. I pulled over and chased him down and put him in my car. He was very thin, missing feathers and limping on one foot. I built him a cage and began to nurse him back to health. After about a month of love and corn my chicken looked amazing. Giant breast, beautiful feathers etc. I grew very fond of that chicken and had put in alot of time to make sure it was ok. One day i was on my back porch reading and i looked up and my chicken was running down the street about 2 miles an hour! Escaped again. I was very rattled and hurt this chicken i had nursed back to life had no love 4 or loyalty to me. Over the years, ive reached out to many people who were broken, limping and shunned. Ive loved and friended many back to health. Just like my chicken they usually get themselves back together and run off to whatever broke them in the first place. That is exactly how i have treated my amazing and loveing God. Every mess ive gotten into over the years i cry out to Him and because He loves me so much He patches me back together again knowing all along that ill run off again. Btw., an hour after my beautiful chicken escaped i saw a mangey black dog running down the street with him in his mouth. #no more running #eat more chicken EO
