When i was younger i studied and watched entertainers,musicians and rock stars on stage and wondered where they learned there moves. The dancing,jumping,hopping,jiggling,shaking,jiving and seizing around on stage. I know Forest Gump showed Elvis how to shake his hips and walk like he’s trying not to drop butter from his ass,but where did head banging come from? The Chuck Berry Duck Walk? The David Lee Roth jump? Who invented the full tilt back,Pete Townsend or Mark Arm? Getting off this week long tour,probably the shortest tour in Mythological horses history but maybe one of the most taxing on my body and my mind. Laying in bed listening to 80’s music,smoking weed and counting the bruises all over my body. This tour we played brand new songs off the new album we just recorded,i also showcased some new acoustic songs and did an acoustic version of Heaven by Talking Heads. I have played this song two times,Fairbanks Alaska and now Bremerton Wa. All the songs off the new album are super emotional for me and hard to listen to let alone play live with out crying. The tour started in Olympia Wa about an hour south of my house. We had no ride to the show until 8pm when Bonnie picked us up and we speed down the rain covered I-5 at 90 miles an hour. After being told not to drink in the car i crawled in the back and consumed 10 beers from Tacoma to Olympia to get ready for the show. When we got to the show it was raining really hard so i sat in the alley and drank more beer and smoked more weed. The next thing i know I’m laying face up in the rain with my dick out peeing straight up on to my jean jacket and belly yelling about rock n roll,as a group of people walking into the show helped me get up i peed on my hands and wiped it across my face and asked them if that was rock n roll. We played about 5 mins later. I attempted to do a head stand while playing guitar in the middle of a song and then ended the set by throwing my guitar across the room into the crowed watching it slid across the room as people jumped out of the way. That was the first show….
