When, if at all, is it appropriate to give kids fully leaded coffee? MiniMe has taken a shine to decaf coffee, and I let her buy a bag of decaf at the grocery yesterday. She keeps bugging me about letting her have regular. I told her they taste the same and she doesnt need the caffeine. But it got me thinking. My mom let me drink regular coffee when I was about 10 or 11, I think. Im not interested in hyping my kids up on caffeine (I dont give them caffeinated soft drinks either, though Ive noticed some of mine go missing from time to time - ha! Sneaky Demonlings), but I wondered what other parents think.
