When in doubt look to an outstanding post by a friend, in this case with regard to Hobby Lobby my friend, Bobbi. Perhaps you want to look at Verda Smedley and me as the proverbial canary in the clothes mine . We, in the universal sense as US citizens , and we meaning the direct ancestors of Verdas and mine fled from England to escape religious persecution and and having someone elses religion rammed down our throats. My grandfather, Allen Botting Smedley and Verds family , all one, were Quakers.... and I am pretty sure our country was founded on a sense that freedom of religion means to not be subjected to. persecuted because of or discriminated against because the religious beliefs of others... and this ruling one religion now seems tohave more rights than another religion... and opens the door to a slew of other deeply held beliefs to crawl through that door. .. and therefore discriminate people because of their religion.
