When it comes to improving the quality of life in this country, Im really sick of hearing, Education is the key.... You shouldnt need a college, or even a high school, degree to make a decent living... If people who work full-time cant make a decent living, we need to RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE... If the rich keep getting richer while the wages of the average worker dont even keep up with inflation, we need to RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE... If people work for wealthy corporations like Walmart and get paid so little they have to use food stamps, we need to RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE... The argument that raising the minimum wage kills jobs and hurts the economy is 100% BULLSHIT... Its just corporate propaganda... The economy is driven by consumer demand... Political conservatism is just a scam to get people to vote for pro-corporate candidates who want to deregulate and privatize everything... Its all about corporate profits.
