When it comes to law and regulations, each country has their own law enforcement. Haiti is different when compared to other countries. Prisons in Haiti are small and over-crowded. It may take years for a prisoner to see a judge and obtain justice. Most people in prison have no money to hire a lawyer. This situation is further complicated by prisoners with mental problems. These individuals have no access to medication to treat their condition, and are often so confused that they are unable to discern if their condition stems from voodoo or has its origins within themselves. Our goal is to inform doctors in using TMS to reduce the mortality and mobility of these prisoners who are suffering with mental depression. With minimal training, these doctors will be able to evaluate prisoners for stress disorder, panic disorder, anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and mood disorder. Our goal is to place Haiti on the map as an international detox treatment for substance abuse.
