Is this borne out of: • Personal insecurity? • Justifying one’s own existence? • Feeding a superiority complex? • Seeking collective reassurance? • Self-validation? • Fear of others who do not think the same way? • Fear of death? • Hope in an afterlife? • Seeking to control or direct others (power trip)? • Access to resources? • Other? (please specify) It always amazes me that those who feel they have a secure relationship in their God feel the desperate need to influence, criticize or convert others who do not share their singular notion of belief?
