When it was announced to the congregation after the Subhi salaat, that a wealthy man whom everyone identified to always sit in the front row died before Fajr, it was a news that drove shock into the hearts of everyone of us. The deceased was said to have observed yesterdays Isha prayer hale and hearty, and that later on, he requested for a cup of tea. He bid his household good night, his final night on the face of the earth. The biggest lesson I picked from the mans death is that, I went to the mosque this morning, still trying to come to terms with the reality of my stolen laptop, and then hearing the news of his death, I was grieved, so much that I could hardly control my tears. It means, the death could have been me, while my laptop and all the lost data still remain intact without any further use to me. AlhamduliLlaahi alaa kulli Haal, Wa aoodhubika min Haali ahlin naar. May Allaah forgive the deceased and admit him into His Mercy.
