Some of us think of summer, some of us worry about heating bills, some of us dream of tropical vacations and idealistic idiots like myself get on a soap box and rant! Today fruit for thought! What would happen if landlords had to maintain a certain energy efficiency rating on their rental units? Do you think our government could save a few bucks by charging the landlords vs. energy assistance programs? As the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer wouldnt it just make sense to make the rich more responsible for their greedy shortcomings? All this talk about energy independence, more efficient cars, other sources of energy etc. means absolutely nothing if people are not held accountable for their lack of action. What do you think?
