When me and you were kids at 12 years of age we had to cut 3 acres of grass with a 30 mower, weed eat, pick garden, hoe garden, shell peas, butterbeans, vacuum carpet, sweep carport, try and dust furniture, feed and water deer dogs, wash dishes, dry dishes, and put them up, plus feed and water regular dogs, and I may be wrong but I dont remember complaining to my parents. I didnt like it but I did it because if I talked back to my mom or dad I would get a butt whooping. I told my girls today to empty dish washer, put dirty dishes in it and feed and water dogs. They got into fight about who was doing more. I remember my dad telling me if you only knew what all I had to do when I was your age. You know what he was right. Man getting old sucks but I see what my dad meant when he said yall dont understand what work is. Can you imagine how it us going to be for our grand kids. Teach your kid an honest days work because if we dont our Country is on a down hill slide. Just my opinion. I may be the mean dad but one day they will thank me for it.
