When most people set a health and fitness goal, they gauge their progress on their weight. In fact, their actual goal is usually a certain number on the scale (Often, a number they saw when they were teenagers in high school). My advice: Set a I want to feel like this.. Or I want to be able to do this.. Focus on how your body feels and what you an do with it and your body will find a good weight. Promise.
