When my Grandmother was so sick with cancer, my parents brought - TopicsExpress

When my Grandmother was so sick with cancer, my parents brought her into our home, where we cared for her during the last year and a half of her life. My Mom would make her breakfast before work, my Dad had coffee with her every morning. Mom would walk home from work to make her lunch. I would take care of her after school. Mom would make dinner for all of us. My Dad paid for the extra medicines, medical devices, clothes, and then her funeral. Dad never complained. Not once. So why would family EVER complain that my Mom should ask some of her brothers or sisters to help out when Dad needs them ??? May God have mercy on each one of your selfish, petty souls that you would begrudge my father one moment of help.
