When my father died on July 9, 2009 I decided to quit the rat race. This December I am retiring for good and will continue to live a simple, stress-free and drama-free life here in Los Angeles. Ive only seen about 15% of California. I will be spending my time traveling around California and the rest of the U.S. However, I will leave my options open whether---or not---I should run for mayor in our city, Zamboanga City, in 2016. Im sad because it seems our people are not ready for CHANGE so they can have better lives and opportunities. In that case, I can see myself doing what any retiree would do: travel and go fishing.... Or, maybe, Ill end up buying a few acres of land up in the mountains here in northern California and build a small log cabin by a river and spend the rest of my life fishing.... Grow my own fruits and vegetables and raise my own farm animals.... ============
