When my kids were little I loved Christmas...seeing the wonder and excitement in their faces was everything....as they got older, Christmas lost a little bit of that, but having my children with me was still a heart warming feeling....this year I have no Christmas spirit at all, I have a tree up with no decorations because I cant find it in me...no Christmas cards were sent because I cant bring myself not to sign Megs name on them...everyone is about buying that perfect gift, spending money they dont have, and exhausting what they do have....I feel a little bit of resentment knowing that families will be spending the day together the same as every Christmas before and yes, Im having a bit of a broken hearted pity party here. My friends, this is what i wish for you for Christmas....I wish you a full heart, not a full tree, I wish you great memories with your loved ones...I wish you a day filled with laughter and love. Gifts are replaceable, loved ones are not ❤️
