When news of a suicide of another household name like Robin Williams hits the wire, its going to naturally become a huge buzz and blow up the Trending feed. As with some others out there, its got me thinking a lot today about how real depression is...how utterly consuming it can be; the seemingly endless self-deprecation/loneliness/four cold steel walls attached to a glass ceiling and floor. I will be the first to say that I feel like I still struggle with it from time to time. Its really important to be involved in each others lives, and to actually stop and listen if the words escape your mouth How are you? to somebody. We carry each other physically, mentally, and emotionally through this life, and friendship/love is more than about hitting a like button on somebodys picture of the 12th mocha theyve had in one day. Go do good things for each other, as always, and Ill try to do the same.
