When one travels down Houston Street, and on AT&T Parkway, during a Spurs game one cannot help but notice the array of sun glassed cops, constables, deputy sheriffs, and private guards shuffling cars in specific directions, both in and out of the area. I never have seen so many armed personal in a single area except on an Iraq War news clip. If you travel around to the rear of the parking facility there is even more of an array of security personal that would make one wonder if the President is going to the game. But, upon closer inspection it turns out to be executives, high ticket holders, high end box buyers, and of course the groupie wealthy followers of the sports world. All of them driving up in dark tinted, pearly white (or solid black) BMWs and other status symbol carriages that roll into the parking lot with an air of royalty. Why are we spending this much tax payer dollars on the social fopperies of the rich and the famous when just a few blocks away dozens of criminal drug dealers are stealing the lives of our children, relatives, and friends?
