When people say relationships should be based on honesty everyone always thinks that means one shouldn’t lie to another about what ‘happened’. But the type of honesty any human relationship needs is more holistic and far reaching than truth about past events. The type of honesty relationships need to grow strong, and flourish is the transparency in our feelings and thoughts. The ability to speak our minds freely without fear of a degrading judgment, loss, or ridicule. The ability to be forthcoming with our expectation without the threat of insecurity. The full submission to appreciating a moment with all honesty without holding back or exaggerated pretense. Ideal and utopian this may seem, I see no other way to having healthy relationships. You either live truly, or you will lose life. Leap, they say, for you will only find companionship flying. It has wings, not like anything else.
