When people say they have lost hope in our democracy mainly - TopicsExpress

When people say they have lost hope in our democracy mainly because of the kinds of politicians and governance structures it has produced, in light of some of these evidences, one feels a strong motivation to jump on the I have lost hope bandwagon. To be fair, I did not hear Hon. K.T. Hammond say he was happy GNPC and GNGC are fighting when I listened to him on Joy 99.7 FM. And, mindful of the recent past history of Citi 97.3 FM and citifmonline ( Nathan Quao, and Bernard Avle sorry to you guys), I do not fully believe the story. But why should there be a fight between these two in the first place to attract such a reaction from the controversial legislator? If however this story is true, then perhaps people have another reason to feel discouraged. There are good people in politics. Lets defend and protect them. We should not leave them to the system, lest they be corrupted and punished by it. They make decisions with Ghana in mind. They fight the system They cant look on when society is being destroyed in the name of politics. Such are their traits. The moment we let them be punished disproportionately for these traits, conformity wins - and society loses. citifmonline/2014/12/12/creation-ghana-gas-company-illegal-k-t-hammond/
