When poverty strikes, innovative ideas emerge. I hard a very hard upbringing my parents couldnt pay for my school fees, uniform and other school needs. I had a vision not only to change my life and that of my whole family but I had a vision to change other peoples lives too and not let them go through the same hardships as mine. Vision alone isnt enough, it needs to be implemented. Before I even registered my NGO (Ikusasa School Needs Foundation) I took it up on my self to help those in need and I paid school fees for 26 needy kids in my area. Now with Ikusasa Foundation Im aiming at helping kids all over South Africa. Im currently in the process of drafting proposals to be sent to potential funders. Any Activator that has anything to offer and help the organization to grow you are free to get in touch with me and pave a way forward. Lastly and importantly, I would like to thank Activate for igniting our visions and ideas. We do have these idea, plenty of them but we lack tools to implement them the way we wish to.
